After living in their Scripps Ranch home for 15 years, my clients decided it was high time for a major remodel. One of the first spaces they wanted to update was an existing bathroom for their preteen daughter. Their design goal was to incorporate modern finishes, a light and bright color scheme, and an element of fun! The color combination of vibrant, multi-hued teals and cotton white gives this space a fresh, elevated look. The vertically stacked wall tile adds more โvisual heightโ in the shower and is a stark contrast against the quartz stone seat. At the vanity area, we kept the surrounding finishes and wall color light and bright to better showcase the wood-toned cabinet and whimsical bird wallpaper behind. Additional modern touches included two new artfully crafted glass wall sconces with hexagonal backplates, satin nickel bath fixtures, and hex-shaped porcelain floor tiles.
